Ryan Gosling rode a motorcycle in Schenectady, NY yesterday to start shooting The Place Beyond the Pines. The role required Ryan to try out a new bleached blond look for his hair. The physical transformation also included a temporary
tattoo, which happened to be on Ryan's face. The part is quite a different one from the suave, single guy Ryan plays in tomorrow's Crazy, Stupid, Love. Ryan's latest project is based on the story of stunt rider who thinks about breaking the law to provide for his family, and it's the most recent effort from his friend, Blue Valentine director Derek Cianfrance.
