Finding himself in a bit of a traffic snarl, Mel Gibson was responsible for a midday fender bender in Phoenix, Arizona on Monday (October 10).

Looking to have a little bit of a lead foot, the "Braveheart" actor's front end bumped into another car's back end while traveling through the city yesterday, according to a TMZ report.

With neither party incurring any injuries from the incident, Mel and
the owner of the afflicted car simply exchanged insurance information before getting on with their day.

Gibson is said to be in Phoenix to visit his father who is currently staying at a nearby hospital.
